Nice via ferrata. Surefootedness and a head for heights are required on the entire trail. There are plenty of places to rest, take photos and get information.

On weekends and public holidays, wine from Calmont and cake are served here. Tastes great, after you have the via ferrata behind you.

July 6, 2022,Gipfeltreffen auf Bremmer Calmont.
A suspected alpine vineyard with all-foot challenges. The Calmontsteig between Eller and Bremm provides a real feeling of exhilaration and optical sensory overload. Sturdy shoes and a head for heights are a must, then nothing stands in the way of hiking and scrambling. Magnificent panoramas at every turn!

Finally, the Calmont via ferrata again.
For me, the most beautiful via ferrata in the Saar-Lor-Lux region.
I've done it so many times, and it's always a highlight.
Even today, in bad weather.

Calmont via ferrata beautiful path through the steepest vineyard. Partly like the Hillary step 😆
Good shoes are recommended, as is a head for heights.
But here, too, you can meet exotic people in dresses and slippers.
Great views great nature and now it was hot.
Finally Hocketse or wine festival in Bremm

The Calmont via ferrata hike is a tour that provides great views and adventure!
The beginning of the route leads along narrow paths through the vineyards. Some narrow stairs lead up and down slate steps. Until you climb along rock faces over stirrups and ropes.
The path leads you in the direction of Eller until the path to the top …

Always uniquely beautiful, the Calmont via ferrata.
Mainly because of the point that you first go the via ferrata and then can enjoy the delicious wine at the summit cross that grows on the Calmont 🥰😊🤩

...I actually wanted to go somewhere else on the Moselle. An entertaining chat about finding a parking space from yesterday and the beautiful cloud images during the journey caused me to slow down shortly after Beuren and inspect the hiking parking lot. And once you're there.

On the way home along the Moselle, the Calmont via ferrata was still on the agenda today. I'm not entirely free from acrophobia. So the narrow paths along the steep slope offered quite a bit of thrill. There are only a few climbing spots, but they were quite challenging.

Today we went the Calmont Höhenweg and the Calmont via ferrata.
The very steep ascent to the summit cross made us pant. Maybe you shouldn't go on such a south-facing slope in the muggy midday heat .... 😉😄😅
The entire way was very beautiful and promising.
We were thrilled!
