Zagon Waterfall

Highlight • Waterfall

The 1st and 2nd waterfalls are easily accessible by a simple hike. Also good to go with children. Due to heavy rains before, the two waterfalls had water in August as well.

The river must be crossed 5 times. In the water-rich months (e.g. February) it was quite a challenge which, like ours, ended with wet shoes 😂. We were happy to accept this for this great tour and nature.

You quickly walk past the junction there, but found it thanks to Komoot. Good shoes and sure-footedness required, the path is steep and sometimes slippery!!! But it's worth it :-)

June 27, 2022,🇭🇷 Croatia 🥾 Buzet - Weg der 7 (ohne) Wasser 🚱 Fälle 🏞
Path of the 7️⃣ waterfalls even without water 🚱 a nice hike. With enough water 🧃 in your luggage you can do the tour at 34 degrees 🥵 ambient temperature (of course only for people who don't mind the heat). The waterfalls were advertised, so we could at least guess. Walked the path in reverse from Slap 7, 6, 5,...1. …

The tour is from the Istria travel guide from Michael Müller Verlag. The tour led for the most part on old donkey paths through a dense maquis that did not allow for any distant views. The rivers Mirna and Pivka had dried up, instead of the falls there was a karst muddy rocky landscape with few puddles left. The place …

Path of the seven waterfalls
In any case, I am so proud of us that we have mastered it.

A hike in Croatia was a must. 😉 Today we went along the path of the 7 waterfalls. Unfortunately there was no water left. Nevertheless, it was a nice hike for me with many impressions.

A scenic 15km hike through the Mirna valley to its 7 waterfalls. Unfortunately, the Mirna was completely dry in July, so there were no waterfalls. It must be fantastic in spring.
There are some more demanding passages - overall the path is not for slippers or sneakers. Unfortunately, the route markings are not always clear.

Very varied tour. Unfortunately no water due to the persistent heat, but still worthwhile.

Surefootedness and stamina required.

Lots of sun and no drinking water along the way

We were there at the end of August, unfortunately all the waterfalls had no water. Nevertheless, the hike was very beautiful and varied.
I think that in spring and early summer the seven waterfalls also have enough water….

Very nice tour, also recommended when the water level of the Mirna is low, although the waterfalls are then a bit measly. The tour crosses the creek bed 3 times, when the water level is high bathing shoes and a towel are helpful, otherwise you can easily cross the creek on stepping stones. Sure-footedness required, a steep and rope-secured passage …
