June 7, 2022,🇮🇹Runde von Cossogno mit der Ponte Romano - Cascate – Veduta di Rovegro e Cossogno
Today we hiked a leisurely round through three beautiful little villages. In the morning we still had heavy rain and thunderstorms at the lake, so we decided to do a short tour. We had this tour from Komoot, unfortunately didn't notice who did it, thanks to the "predecessor" for this nice round.
We started in Cossogno and first hiked through …

Tour through four villages. No matter how small the place, each one has its own church. There are numerous wayside chapels along the way. The path of the crucifixion is shown on several signs along the route. Some stations are not so well preserved. It's crazy how time seems to stand still in the villages. There is still a washhouse …

Wonderful tour 🤩. The start was shortly before 9 a.m. in Rovrego. We were accompanied by a cat 🐈 to the Ponte Romano at Torrente di San Bernardino. On the beautifully landscaped Sentiero we heard the masterful carillon from the church tower in Rovrego for a long time. I continued through a high moor to Unchio to the waterfall and …

This hike is a small roundtrip around the river San Bernardino. Highlights on this hike are two nice chapels with resting areas around them and the Roman bridge close to Cossogno. A lot of the trails are loose big cobblestones which can get slippery.
Very varied circular hike through beautiful mountain villages and on panoramic paths with great views. However, it is recommended to start in Unchio, so that you start and end almost at the lowest point

Attention. Path closed in the center of Rovegro due to danger, I invented an alternative, a nice climb. 01/11/2024

Very nice tour. I had a hard time navigating at first. You have to find the many corners and alleys first.
I can only recommend. Despite the heat, the paths were mostly pleasant to walk in the shade. Beautiful views spice up the somewhat steep climbs.

Excursion with modest slopes which winds almost entirely through woods and which joins, in a circular route, the villages of Cossogno (departure), Rovegro, Santino and Unchio
