A seemingly ancient stone bridge crosses the Torrente San Bernardino. The view down into the gorge is breathtaking.

The old stone bridge from days gone by is part of the old mule track.

I wanted to cross the bridge from Cossogno on 7.8.19, but it was closed due to construction. How long was not noted. As an alternative, I'm off the beaten path slightly north of the next opportunity left into the gorge purely. The path is not listed on the Komoot map. There you get directly to the weir (see small reservoir with building on the map), which can be safely crossed under good conditions. On the other side, a path leads along the pipeline up to the road to Rovegro.
