near the headwaters of the Thredbo River and overlooking the Alpine Way. This is a favourite meeting point for hikers and transport as there is adequate parking and a pleasant picnic area

April 11, 2023,Dead Horse Gap and Thredbo River Track

With the lift up to Mount Kozzi and from there along the Dead Horse Gap Track into the valley. There was snow on the top and it was raining. It got muddy a little deeper because everything was thawing, but the flora and fauna were breathtaking! Arrived in the valley we followed the Thredbo River. An amazingly beautiful path along …
