Wünsdorf Village Church

The evangelical village church in Wünsdorf is a hall church in the round arch style in Wünsdorf, a district of the town of Zossen in the district of Teltow-Fläming.

Landstraße 74 runs as Klausdorfer Straße in west-east direction as a central connecting axis through the town. To the north, the Am Kirchplatz street encloses a small area on which the building stands. This is fenced in with a wall of unhewn and non-layered field stones.

The building was built between 1841 and 1843.

A memorial in front of the church commemorates those who died in World War I. Another memorial stone in front of the cemetery wall commemorates the dead of the wars of liberation.

Unfortunately, you only get to the shore sporadically, with occasional paved stretches. Still, it's recommended in such beautiful autumn weather. 🌞🍁🍂

It's a shame that there are very few options for getting directly to the lake. They're either blocked and closed off by insanely large private homes and their lots, fishing clubs, or cordoned-off "private boat docks."
It was interesting to discover the former children's holiday camp of the Soviet troops in Wünsdorf.

I went around the Great Wünsdorf Lake. It was a good walk for my feet. The part east of the lake on the cobblestone road was not so pleasant. It's a shame that there is no path along the water.
