The elevation gain is simply incredible. I started and finished at the same point, and yet it still looks like I've climbed Mount Everest. My watch says just under 1550 meters of elevation gain, Strava adds another 1600, and Garmin generously adds 1820. If this continues, I'll soon be shooting straight into the atmosphere—no rocket, just altitude.
