Würm Valley Cycle Path

Highlight • Cycleway

The Würmtal cycle path is mostly quite shady and is therefore a tip, especially on hot summer days.

The cycle path along the Würm through the Würmtal is always a highlight. The brook babbles lively over stony passages and there are always places where you can simply get to the brook to take a break.

Gravel bike path until just before Pforzheim, there is then paved. Otherwise ideal on hot days, as there is a lot of shade from the forest/trees.

Because it was so nice yesterday, went on another tour today🤩💪
Starting in Weil der Stadt and cycling up the Möttlinger Berg immediately after Merklingen was a bit exhausting. Then cycled in the wonderfully beautiful Monbachtal to the Nagold. On the whole, the paths were ok, sometimes a bit slippery on fine gravel, but we don't want to complain at …

Beautiful, shady tour along the Würm and Nagold copied from @Gina and slightly shortened. Thank you for posting it👏👍. EKS 🍻🍽 at the Kupferhammer because Peter's Würmtalgaststätte only had reserved seats today on Sunday. The concern that the paths are too crowded today on Sunday has not been confirmed. At the beginning there was a small trail, which was easy …

3 stars ☀☀☀ for 3 super beautiful bike paths: along Monbach, Nagold and Würm - super great and far enough away from road traffic🚗. 👀
small but delicious stop at the Kupferhammer 🍻 in Pforzheim.
In the forest🌳🌲🌳 it was very pleasant with the temperatures, the wide moss areas were a feast for the eyes. 👍

Margot and I drove the 🚲tour together with Manne and Armin.
We parked at the sports home in
Möttlingen. From there we went on gravel paths down into the Monbach valley. After a short bike repair 🪛🔧 (grazing fender), we continued on the Nagoldtalradweg to Pforzheim. Since we had already peed extensively on the way, there was only a small …

The weather was perfect 😎, so we headed to the Nagold cycle path, initially with an obstacle in the form of a 🧱pasture fence (easily removable) and then we came to a 🌳"hedge job" - which was also easy and problem-free for us to manage (although we hadn't even noticed the trouble 🌵). Shortly afterwards we saw two 🚴‍♀️bikes on …

First of all: Thanks for the tips for the Monbachtal, this time we found the 🚲 path and it's nicer than on the 🚗 road...

Today we went on shady 🌳🌲 cycle paths first in the direction of Pforzheim on the Würmtalradweg and back via the Nagoldradweg. Since it was still quite warm ☀️, we drove up the Monbachtal on the road (was worth a try and is definitely "better").
We took a break at Peter's Würmtal Gaststätte🍺🌮-highly recommended.
