The Hohenfelden Museum Trail leads along scenic paths to original sites and locations in the Hohenfelden Reservoir adventure region. Today, we were drawn to the Weimarer Land region, a part we hadn't seen before. We parked at the fire station in Hohenfelden, a delightful old village with old sights. Today, with animal companions 🐕🥰, we had a super nice walk that we'll definitely do again. Only the freshly filled forest highway was lousy and dirty.
After "conquering" Riechheimer Berg again via a winding, overgrown path, the sun even came out, and the complete autumn color spectacle was sensational 🤩🍁🍂

The first detour led via Wenigsteig to the Teufelskanzel (Devil's Pulpit). Both are still signposted, but very dilapidated. I get the impression that nothing is being maintained there anymore.

The second detour took the shortcut between Sonnenhof and Riechheimer Berg. This path is almost completely overgrown.
