Really fun MTB ride at Cannock Chase today! I've not been here for 8 years. It was super fun. Enjoyed the Monkey Trail. We enjoyed a cafe visit after and trip to the bike shop 🛍️

Not been to Cannock for a while, thought I'd better visit before the "Summer Live" Music Festival which starts on Wednesday (25th - 28th June). There's a new section to start, the old "Twist & Shout" has been repurposed as "Perry's Trail" (Blue). I believe this was done when the Commonwealth Games mtb event was held here (Aug 2022).

August 5, 2022,Cannock Chase - Follow the Dog & Monkey Trail (Big Diversion at Start)

Following the Commonwealth Games MTB event on the new Blue route, there was a big diversion at the start, joining Follow the Dog at the top of 💓 Cardiac Hill, ⚡High Voltage.

Perfect day for another Cannock adventure, headed for a warmup on Perrys then straight to Monkey and found some lovely off piste stuff right to the road. Wish i had arrived sooner as i would have ridden for another 2 hrs.

Little trip to cannock to find the monkey trail. Battery cable fell out mid ride, eventually after lunch at the cafe, which was lovely i found it and rode the full loop. Some good stuff out there to explore.
