A beautiful gorge hike to Saint Dionysios. The ascent to the monastery is hardly worth it. It is currently more of a construction site and ruin. The view of the monastery from the other side is much nicer.

A nice hike with lots of ups and downs. You cross some wooden bridges with great views of waterfalls and raging rivers.

It is a beautiful walk, but a tough one. Bring enough water and keep in mind that three bridges on the E4 route are broken. At low tide you can get to the other side via the stones. We started at 8:15 am and were back down at 6:00 pm, with a break and photo stops. Tip, leave on time.
