Even on the way to the famous waterfall, we witnessed an impressive Yamabushi ceremony at Ryūan-ji Temple. Monks in traditional robes shot arrows in all directions, struck a pile of brushwood with a sword, and then lit a large fire – a fascinating ritual blending Buddhism and Shinto. 🔥
