This route is beautiful at any time of year. Unfortunately, I didn't record from the parking lot, but a few hundred meters further on.

The beaver tracks in the snow were new to me 😄. It has pretty big feet. 🦶You can see great egrets flying almost every time.

The Pegnitz floodplains between Ranna and Michelfeld, a nature reserve covering approximately 198 hectares, are home to many animal and plant species.

A special highlight are the two Kammerweiher ponds, which many bird species use as breeding grounds.

From an observation station, some can be easily observed with binoculars.
