That sounded good: through the middle of Saarland.

But it wasn't really for me. There was too much asphalt, concrete, and road for my taste, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Plus, one section is currently being leveled, so it's probably impassable in the rain.

My tip: Take the Kaltenstein Trail instead (see photo).
