September 18, 2022,MTB Tour - Kühlungsborn - Heiligendamm - Warnemünde Hafen
In glorious weather with blue skies and sunshine, we drove along the cliffs towards Warnemünde today. Thank God we had the hurricane wind behind us. We didn't see any of the announced tornadoes on the Baltic Sea. Through Kuehlungsborn we drove along the long beach promenade. A beautiful place. We continued in the direction of Heiligendamm. Unfortunately, some coastal paths …

A really nice tour along the Baltic Sea with many great and beautiful impressions in wonderful weather 👍 The tour was a lot of fun and joy 🙏

Today we started in the other direction along the water, we didn't really have a goal, the main thing was water and wind. We made our first stop in Heiligendamm, the oldest seaside resort in Germany, the so-called "White City by the Sea". The development that Heiligendamm has taken really shocked us. We received visitors from Lübeck, who are also vacationing there.
Since they didn't know Warnemünde yet, we made them happy and cycled there again.

In addition to the first tour, I have described and photographed new things about this Baltic Sea resort.

For centuries, Warnemünde was primarily a small port and fishing village, until around 1821 when tourist bathing began.
With its sandy beach, which is up to 150 meters …

The tour follows great bike paths and leads through forests and meadows along the coast. The trails are paved or well-maintained forest paths. There are also small single trails for mountain bikers who want to explore a bit off the main trail.

Feasible for everyone, the type of bike is almost completely irrelevant. A road bike is only inappropriate here and there.
