From here you have a nice view over the Listertal. Under the trees stands a bench for a shady break. When we were here, paragliders were out in the field.

Very nice walk along the asphalt path past the dam with a good view of the dam. Then we went back along gravel paths above the dam with a fantastic view of the lake and the great landscape.

In the best hiking weather, we were drawn to the water. The Lister was our destination. It was 12 really great kilometers along the water or with a view of the water. Once the planned path ended in thicket, so we had to replan a bit, but that didn't detract from the great round. It was a real pleasure round. …

We have never been to the Bigge/Lister reservoir and spontaneously we really liked the area! In addition, the sun finally showed up again today, we almost didn't recognize the yellow disc in the sky anymore! :)

This path first runs along a ridge with very nice views on both sides. At the beginning, however, the path is still quite muddy …

Today we went on a family trip because the family were also enthusiastic about the CV - fundraising run for the Federal Association of Children's Hospices and also wanted to be registered. Already completed a few km today. Had a delicious meal as a reward. At the beginning the tour went through the forest on wide agricultural and forest roads, …

Did a lap at the Listertalsperre today.

Although it is high season and the weather was optimal in terms of temperatures, there was not much going on at Lake Bigge or at Listersee.

Gut Kalberschnacke, where you could always eat well, is unfortunately closed. A new tenant has probably not been found yet. A pity.

Out of the fog in the Ruhr area. An incredibly beautiful winter wonderland awaited us on icy paths at the Listertalsperre: clear air, blue sky, sparkling water and a deep, almost meditative calm. That was balm for the soul and body.

To be continued...🚶‍♂️

Nice hike along the Lister reservoir (built in 1910) to the shared dam of the lower Bigge (reservoir) lake (built in 1965). Above all, the way back above the Lister reservoir through forests and meadows offered fantastic views of the landscape over and over again 🤗
