I would definitely recommend Mückensray for the tour. There are no benches and no wastebasket in the beech forest. Please do not leave any rubbish! The return tour is about 1 - 2 km from Altdünkern on a country road with little traffic. The way is still worthwhile because it then continues off the beaten track. You can have a …

We have added the Kleiner Grumsinsee to my lakes collection. I hiked the Großer Grumsinsee and the Großer and Kleiner Schwarzen See as well as the many pühle two years ago.
Very mixed weather with strong gusts, but dry after a few drops of rain in the morning. The forest is extremely dry; there are a lot of recently fallen …

A beautiful hiking trail for some photography opportunities. Scenic forests, lakes, hills, fields, and meadows. What more could you want? The road just before the starting point is a bit adventurous. 😉

It was actually supposed to be a 25 km hike around the Werbellinsee today. But when we approached the starting point, we realized that we would have walked at least 10 km rather than 15 only bike paths. So if you want to go on a wonderful bike hike, please go around the Werbellinsee, the water almost spills onto the …

The Grumsin beech forest - UNESCO World Heritage - was the destination of the hike.

Instead of the usually advertised hike from Alt-Künkendorf, we started just before the hamlet of Grumsin and hiked in a southerly direction. After 4 kilometers you step into a depression and find yourself in the area of the Ice Age Landscape Geopark - absolutely worth …
