The threatened 'severe storms' at least didn't hit Karlsruhe... so we cycled to the Rhine and had a relaxing stay at the 'Hofgut Maxau'. On the way back, we again enjoyed the beautiful biotopes of the Rhine meadows, enhanced by the lowering sun. It's quite busy in nice weather, but always worth a ride.
