The mighty Nanstein Castle ruins are enthroned on a rocky spur of the Kahlenberg above the town of Landstuhl in the district of Kaiserslautern. There we went for a walk west of the castle today. 😀

Relaxed walk to the castle with a refreshment stop at the castle hotel (schlosshotellandstuhl.de). Very nice ambience, delicious food and attentive service. 😋👍 Must be a very secret insider tip, as we were almost the only guests in the best weather for a trip. 🤔
