The various weather forecasts predicted rain, possibly hail and thunderstorms from midday onwards today. I therefore threw out the planned longer tour around Lake Malchin and Kummerow and “only” planned Lake Malchin. Since the direct cycle path around the lake runs along the country road, at least on the south bank, I looked for an alternative route and found it:

The sky wept quietly throughout almost the entire tour, but that didn't stop us from completing our planned tour. Another lake circuit is now history for this year. It was lovely to cycle through the autumnal landscape with the colorful leaves still hanging on the trees (more of it on the ground would certainly have been more difficult).
