It wasn't smart, but the mountains were calling... Trying to find a route with lower risk of snow- and rainfall, we left the Sanetsch Pass for another day and climbed Croix de Coeur instead. The road up there leads mostly through the woods with window-like perspectives of the Rhone Valley and the high snow-covered mountains. The view from the pass …
