So - a morning rollercoaster before an afternoon of stillness 🎢↗️↘️↗️↘️↗️↘️🆘️

I hope it lasts for the next few days 😬

Time to visit family and take care of a few things ☢️ I’ll be back when I’m back. Fingers crossed 🤞



Recently I noticed I’ve already logged over 1,600 activities

It was meant to be a shorter ride - just so I could sit on the balcony in the afternoon with a coffee and a book. And it worked 🥳 And the coffee - I have to admit - is excellent ☺️

The route over Passo della Cava, back on January 4 🔗🩷, was one of my last rides before the crash with a cat 🐈 How different

To be honest, I’d always quietly dreamed of stepping away from the usual Easter holiday pattern. And this year, I finally dared to go against tradition (which is quite a big thing in PL…) and follow my heart 🩷

And I’ll say it straight away - it was absolutely the right call! 🎯

I spent the peak day of

Enchanted places and legends of witches have a certain pull ✨️ So the story from late November 2025 finally got its continuation 😁

I set off towards Spruga to see whether the spring sun had the power to turn the witch back into an ordinary village woman 🧙‍♀️✨️

And it turned out that the sun did bring

I have to admit - I got tired 😂

I’m not even sure what more: those two brutal climbs up to Casone and Mergugno, or the return from Locarno straight into a merciless headwind…

But still - it felt good to escape the crowded streets and hide away in the songs of birds, trees and streams. To lose myself in

There’s already a hint of Easter in the air. Sunny Ticino is swelling with tourists chasing spring sunshine, exposing bare skin to the world despite the cold, almost stormy northern wind. It’s been blowing like this for a week now - 25–30 km/h - and I find myself missing the quiet a little…

But maybe

I walked out this morning

It was like a veil had been removed from before my eyes

For the first time I saw the work of heaven

In the line where the hills had been married to the sky

And all around me

Every blade of singing grass

Was calling out your name

And that our love would always last

And inside every turning

I was hoping to climb Alpe di Neggia almost effortlessly, carried by the northern wind 🌬

But as always, mathematics has very little to do with reality - especially when topography joins the game 😁⛰️🏔🌀

So there was some struggle. But I like that too. And I always let myself be drawn in by a beautifully

This route had been on my mind for quite a while. I rode it in the opposite direction sometime in autumn, descending the switchbacks through Aurano. Today I went for the climb via Premeno.

Around Lago Maggiore there was a bit of an invasion of German-speaking visitors - it almost felt like Mallorca

The last three days have been a struggle with violent wind, crashing down from the Alpine passes and joining forces somewhere around Bellinzona 🌬🌬🌬 Outside the window it roars nonstop, as if a helicopter were landing right next to it - and like that, endlessly. At times my legs even tangle while walking
