The highlight in the last light blue evening light was an eagle owl that soared back and forth over the treetops on the Hirzberg with its peculiar, unmistakable call. Later you could also hear a tawny owl.

The brightly lit St. Ottilien was another highlight, which we only enjoyed from the outside. A trip to the chapel is a must …
