This hike is very varied. The short detour to the Friedensdenkmal viewpoint is absolutely worthwhile.

We also loved the leisurely ride on the historic chairlift to the Rietburg (you save about 200 meters in altitude).

There is a very good restaurant upstairs (g.co/kgs/9PkBEJ). From the terrace you have a wonderful view. There is also a wildlife park nearby ...
