A wonderful tour: From the Front Castle, through interesting chapels, cool caves, rustic forest paths, the defiant Gansnest tower and numerous viewing rocks to the happily rippling Danube water! And that with a good amount of altitude and warm hiking weather - a wonderful mix 😍!

A quite strenuous but overall very scenic tour. Even the final loop—after returning to Friedingen—is well worth the effort. The trails are mostly wide forest paths, but there are also many wonderful narrow paths. Today we did a great tour to the Kolbinger Cave, which was unfortunately closed 🙈, but there are some beautiful viewpoints there that are definitely worth it.

I think it's most beautiful just before Knopfmacherfels, the Siegelesfels... wonderful views of the Danube.
