Very pretty medieval town originally built by the Romans where we find many remains.

A very pleasant and well-stocked market takes place every Tuesday morning from the archaeological site to the medieval bridge, selling local food products, as well as clothing and various crafts.

Vaison-la-Romaine
Vaison-la-Romaine is located on the banks of the Ouvèze river in the Vaucluse department. On one side of this small river, visitors will find one of the most important and largest archaeological sites in France. On the other side, the medieval upper town rises with the heavily fortified castle of the Count of Toulouse.
