September 11, 2021,Parenzana Bahntrassenweg - von Poreč bis Motovun - Gravelbike

As predicted by Sumsi on the last km back a flat one. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Great route with the gravel bike, a bit rough but easy to do. The first part of Poreč is not that great but towards Motovun it is getting more and more beautiful. Next time the path has to be cycled completely 😊👍🏻

The Parenzana or Trieste-Parenzo-Canfararo is a former narrow-gauge railway
Railway line that connected around 33 towns from Porec to Trieste in Italy.

The journey to Motovun rolled well through lonely villages and side roads. Then the adventure began... with the crosser 😲.

Pay attention to the bottom, in Slovenia and Croatia it is very bad, most of the time the original railway ballast filled with earth, then stones and very bumpy. To be done in mtb or similar, better if cushioned. BUT WORTH THE TICKET PRICE!!! 👍💪🏻
