The area around Schmöckwitz on the south-eastern outskirts of Berlin is a popular destination for hikers, cyclists and those who want to swim. Not least because you can reach the Dahmeufer and the Zeuthener See, as well as the Seddinsee by tram. This hike starts in Schmöckwitz and ends in the most feasible Wernsdorf at the bus stop.

New for me was "the black hole", discovered through a highlight on komoot. A small, somewhat arduous but worthwhile detour from the main path leads to this small, dark lake in the silting area of the Wernsdorfer See.
