7h drive. Stretch your legs and soak up the sun. A stopover like this is just right. Look for a hiking car park near the motorway -> Discover komoot -> Gravel tours from your current location -> And off you go. Rennsteig doesn't disappoint. :)

With a gravel bike (without an e-motor) certainly a sporty and technical challenge. Climbs and descents are crisp and numerous. Technically demanding in parts. The beautiful paths behind the Eisenach city area compensate. By no means recommended for city bikes. A gravel or mountain bike is a must in my opinion.
