In the refuge, on the 500 meter high Kuhkopf, there is even a Wetterau »summit book« 😂 And a short but crisp S2 + trail Trail directly from the hut

The Dachskopf is wooded. There is no "real" path to the summit. You can take a break in a crooked hut nearby

Another round on the Winterstein... wonderful!

We got some delicious organic honey again. The sun was shining for the first time in a long time. Snow and unfortunately a bit of ice. Surefootedness is required, especially on the steeper sections.

There can always be water in the exposed areas and the path is then muddy.

Today a bit different: steep up first instead of down at the end.
First straight up the mountain to the viewing tower and then downhill on nice paths. A great trail and with this variant you pass by Anthony's apiary at the end. Great organic honey.

Beautiful tour through Roman times with beautiful views but also a steep descent. Due to the heat, which made things difficult for our four-legged friend in particular, we took it easy because there were a lot of open, sunny spots.

Fantastic sunny round. From Pfaffenwiesbach there were a lot of Romans and Limes today, including the Kapersburg. Via the radio tower on the Steinkopf to the eponymous main goal, the Winterstein Tower. The view was great today, but it also pulled quite well up there.
Steep downhill to Forsthaus Winterstein. Took the Roman tower on the Gaulskopf as a small …

Our city tour Fulda from last week we could from techn. reasons unfortunately do not share. But this time it worked again. With the announced temperatures, we had deliberately chosen a forest route, which was good for us, despite the light wind. From the Winterstein parking lot, we went past the forester's house to the Gaulskopf. There we climbed the …

The weather forecast for today predicted 33 degrees. Despite this knowledge, I had to sleep in a little longer this morning. In recent weeks, the alarm clock had already been ringing at four o'clock and that was still weighing heavily on me.
I simply needed a little more sleep again.
