Today a bit different: steep up first instead of down at the end.
First straight up the mountain to the viewing tower and then downhill on nice paths. A great trail and with this variant you pass by Anthony's apiary at the end. Great organic honey.

Today the sun is shining. The wind is still quite cold.
We still meet a few Simson riders. They are everywhere here.
In the next village, we pass the Wetzstein. Very interesting history.
Across meadows, it goes to the treeless summit of the Gläserberg, where the Dermbacher Hütte of the Rhönklub stands

This morning it is very cold. We stayed overnight at Kloster Kreuzberg and set off from Seiferts after breakfast. We follow the Buchoniarundweg uphill for a stretch, walk on the Bohlenweg in the Schwarzes Moor, through Frankenheim with a beautiful Protestant church, past the former border installation

Today is the king's stage, which is quite challenging with 21 km and almost 700 meters of altitude. But the varied route from Trechtingshausen through the Binger Wald to Bacharach is also record-worthy in other respects: a proud 5 castles and castle ruins line the route and do the Rheinburgenweg proud

The first stage of the Rheinburgenweg offers a mix of forest hiking, spectacular views, and cultural highlights. The hike begins with entry into the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Middle Rhine Valley and leads to idyllic forest inns and Roman relics before reaching the magnificent Rhine Valley view

We did the loop from Sachsenhausen instead of from the train station in Sprendlingen.
A nice loop without major inclines on good paths. Occasionally through villages, but well done.
In Dreieichenhain a good ice cream parlor and on the way back a break at the Oberschweinstiege. Wonderful!
