July 20, 2021,Runde Bad Friedrichshall am Kocher und an der Jagst
The paths are all excellent and suitable for every bike. Refreshments are clearly arranged on the Jagst and are often only open from Wednesday to Sunday. I like the area very much and a detour to Bad Wimpfen is worth it!

Today we went to Bad Friedrichshall with the bikes on the bike rack on the car. We went to Sindringen on the Kochertal cycle path, which runs along a former railway line, perfectly flat and with great asphalt. There we left the valley and went up the Limes cycle path with a steep incline over the ridge to Jagsthausen. From …

There were plenty of parking spaces at the train station. During the week it's probably different. Then it costs money.

A beautiful round. Well-signposted cycle paths, only the start in the morning was a bit bumpy due to the SüdLink construction site....🙃The only real climb is the change from the Kocher to the Jagst valley between Sindringen and Jagsthausen. The view from above is beautiful, but the wind was blowing well🌬🌬and the descent was (of course) also beeeaaaautiful. In the …

Today was a wonderful tour, pure nature and water, great, even my bike buddy Klaus was really excited, we were of the opinion that we would definitely do it again 👍👍 vg Gerd

I've always wanted to do this route... and now it's finally happened. The route to Sindringen was beautifully sunny and flat... just the right thing for a morning warm-up... 🙂 ... then the short but challenging climb to the Edelmannshof housing estate with its water tower visible from afar. The return route through the Jagst Valley was more wooded and …

Relaxed cycling along the railway line along the Kocher and Jagst rivers. Only the headwind was a bit annoying in the Jagst Valley.
The valley crossing from Sindringen has a somewhat nasty climb, but then a beautiful downhill ride to Schöntal Monastery. I abandoned my first attempt at crossing a little earlier after seeing that Schöntal Monastery and Berlichingen still …

Today we had to set off early on the 4th stage of the Kocher-Jagst cycle path, because the weather forecast was "subterranean" 😬 We set off at 8.30 a.m. in cozy 14°C (veeerily early for me 🙈), and at first it actually looked quite encouraging: Although it was heavily overcast, it didn't look like rain. 🤞🏻My confidence was of course …
