I'm glad the tour went so well, despite the temperature being just above freezing. It was dry and not too windy. We followed the Leimbach stream to Wiesloch and then the Waldangelbach stream to Angelbachtal. A beautiful, relatively flat route, one I've ridden many times before. I had a good impression of Wiesloch today. It was lovely! 🙋♀️
I set off in the early afternoon. The sheep had already grazed much of the meadow. Every day, there's a new patch. My path then led me over several hills in the Kraichgau into the Leimbach Valley, to Dielheim and Wiesloch. Here, I stopped for a quick break at Cafe Rutz with a delicious raspberry cake, and then continued along the Baden Wine Cycle Route to Rauenberg to the "Vogelhäusle" restaurant by the animal park. Wow, it was even open 🤩, even though it was a Monday! The Greek innkeeper, the appropriate music, and, last but not least, the ambiance guaranteed a good mood with food and red wine 😂. I got home safely... It was all lovely 😆🙋♀️
A beautiful tour, on beautiful paths, in a beautiful landscape combined with visits to relatives in Wiesloch and Horrenberg.
Comfortable break🍕☕️ at the H2O Bistro at the outdoor pool in Sinsheim
Eisbär🐻❄️ to the ice cream parlor🍨 in Eichtersheim 🏰 in no hurry 😉
Unspectacular Kraichgau round in pleasant temperatures. 0.0 mud problems. Highlights were the extremely drunk fans of the Offenbacher Kickers, who literally fell out of the train in front of my eyes at 12.30pm on their away trip. That's something you have to be able to do at that time of day.... And the mobile speed camera in the Wiesloch city center, which photographed me at 13.9 kmh. Have fun identifying the bike owner... 😀
The day was beautiful and just kept getting better! Sunshine, fresh air, wind in my ears, and Anemoi, my bike, couldn't have been a better match. A particular highlight was meeting up with a Komoot friend to share happy and also sad stories. C'est la vie 🤔
Short lap - combination of Leimbach and wine route (roughly)
