I really enjoyed the walk, especially the path to Kaltenburg, which was simply fantastic.

It was wonderfully quiet, not too hot yet, and only towards the end did I meet the first dog walkers and the mosquitoes started buzzing.

A really nice walk with lots of forest 🌳🌲🌳 The Kaltenburg ruins are always a highlight for me. I didn't go into the Charlotten Cave, although I've been there before. But it's definitely worth it.

We were out with our dog, who was very happy about the change of scenery and didn't really want to go home, but …

Very nice to run. At least trekking shoes are currently compulsory, as there are a few places in the forest where you can possibly do flight training …

Today I left way too late and reluctant to walk a longer loop, so only the short version of the originally planned hike. Sometimes it's just not THE right day...

It was still a nice little tour and the rain didn't come until the very end. So it was perfect timing 😅
