On the first day, we started from Bad Wiessee with a short tour around Lake Tegernsee. Our destination was the brewery, where the Radler beer was sizzling. Eight Zillertal residents cycled, and two sailed. Upon arriving back in Bad Wiessee, traditional brass music lured us to the lakeside promenade, providing a lovely end to our first day of vacation.

We had a great start to our four-day cycling trip to the Karwendel Nature Park. Pleasant temperatures, a bit of sunshine, a beautiful landscape, and a flat, short stage.

Unfortunately, you have to be extremely careful when cycling around the lake. Pedestrians, cyclists, drivers... and a group of 25 people who all had to stay together 😮

This tour is really recommended, even for beginners like us (my husband and I)! However, there are a few inclines on the west side, which are tough, and an e-bike is very helpful there. But the many beautiful views and rest areas are worth it!
