From the Hotel Burgblick, we cycle along the Tauern Cycle Path to Braunau am Inn. After a short tour of the old town and a lunch break, we cycle back along the Inn Cycle Path.

To the longest castle 🏰
Absolutely worth seeing, as is the old town. The castle is over a kilometer long and can be cycled through.
The Austrian side of the tour is rather dull, in Bavaria it is a bit livelier.

I can also recommend the Altstadt Cafe in Burghausen, where you can look directly out over the Salzach from the beer garden 😀

The tour via Burghausen and Niedergottsau is one of the most beautiful and varied in our area. You are on bike paths or side roads and there are many interesting things to discover on the tour.
From Braunau you follow the Tauernradweg R3a via Überackern to Duttendorf. After crossing the Salzach it goes through Burghausen to Haiming. You drive through …

It was hot 🥵🥵🥵 but very interesting...the cycle path through the middle of Burghausen's industrial area...very impressive! The castle is a highlight anyway...although after the Salzach bridge I had to go down the steps to the cycle path along the river! That almost went wrong 🙈 an e-bike is really heavy! But then it was fine again!☺️
Oh yes....and in …
