A very beautiful gorge, into which you descend along a small path. The path is lined with several rocks, steep walls, and constantly changing views of the gorge. Especially in the colder months, you'll be practically alone here.

Two impressive gorges line this hike for spontaneous hikers. Over hill and dale it goes in numerous serpentines, over roots and stony steps up through the wild Tobel Gorge, in which the mighty Hohle Stein marks the striking highlight. It then goes back through the somewhat tamer Bodenbach Gorge on a lonely path. What a scenery!

Originally, we had planned to hike both gorges – the Tobel and the Bodenbach gorges. However, from the road, we noticed that the lower Bodenbach gorge was closed, so we quickly changed our plans and opted for a shorter hike, primarily through the Tobel gorge. It was very beautiful and impressive. Despite the muddy ground, it was a great little …
