Hiking Highlight (Segment)
The canyon gorge of the Dentelbach opens at the lower entrance with a great spring and a small rest stop. With sturdy shoes, the gorge is good for walking. It follows along the Dentelbach and holds great rock formations of Stubensandstein ready. Adventure-rich path for all ages.

A local artist builds these beautiful stone cones. It takes about 60 working hours for a cone! So please just look, enjoy and not destroy. In the area you can even try to build a piece of art made of stone.

Between well and barbecue, in the middle you will find the hollow stone. It can be very slippery in rainy weather and damp ground.

Beautiful gorge with great rock formations. Wonderfully cool in summer. The Bodenbach Gorge is also in the immediate vicinity.

The natural monument Tobelschlucht with the "Hohlem Stein" is a brook blade of the Dentelbach in the Stubensandstein with a small waterfall. As a natural monument was previously registered only a part of the lot, the so-called "cave stone" (450 m above sea level) - a grotto-like undermined rock bank of the Middle Stubensandstein. However, the amphitheater-like final rock walls of the Tobel Canyon are no less worthy of protection.
Interesting work of nature. I recommend sturdy shoes.

The actual blade is only about 400 m long and flows into the "hollow stone", a fascinating gorge and good shoes is recommended

We parked at the Dentelbach car park, from there to the Tobelschlucht and then back over the Bodenbachschlucht. The way to the Tobelschlucht is very loud because the road runs almost parallel and the motorcyclists see their chance in the nice weather. We found that totally annoying, everything else as idyllic. The path at the Bodenbach gorge is quieter.

It's just beautiful here. Good forest air is humidified by water and is par degrees cooler than usual in the forest. Nice stone sculpture built in about 80 hours and just with stones of different sizes, without any mortar or anything like that. Is worth seeing.

adventurous gorge with the largest and most beautiful stone cairn that I have ever seen!

The "Tobel Gorge" is located near Vorderbüchelberg (part of Spiegelberg) in the Rems-Murr district:

- Surefootedness is recommended.
- in the immediate vicinity is the "Bodenbach Gorge"
- Both gorges can be discovered / connected on a great circular hiking trail

Great, varied gorge to hike through. The Tobel Gorge is a pleasantly cool recommendation, especially on hot summer days.

It is better if you visit the gorge after rain. Then the brook rushes and the rocks drip more than when it is dry. But be careful on the way.

Landscape close to nature
Wild gorge with an alpine path
Good footwear is a must

When wet it quickly becomes slippery and muddy. Good shoes and, if necessary, sticks are recommended.
