The car was parked in Schrattenbach (there are hardly any parking spaces), but most people will choose the Klammwirtin as their starting point. This round is one of my favorites near Vienna. Not only because of the beautiful gorge. It's also a wonderful herb hike: in the first half you'll find thyme, oregano, sage, cranesbill, groundweed, mugwort and wormwood. In the second, the yellow deadnettle, parsnips and cabbage thistle.
