'Tapestry' is one of my favourite albums of all times. Carole King had moved from New Jersey to Laurel Canyon in LA in 1967, splitting up with her husband Gerry Goffin. Here her music met musicians like James Taylor and Joni Mitchell to inspire her 1971 masterpiece.
