Highlight • Viewpoint

Shortly before the Bruckener Fels there are two other smaller rocks with a beautiful view, one with a prominent hole. Very nice section of the trail at Albtrauf!

Great view of Unterlenningen. To be enjoyed on a bench that could only be occupied on Sundays at most.

In the area south of here there was a Celtic settlement in the 1st century BC. Although that was over 2,000 years ago, a rampart near Elsachstadt and a field of burial mounds near Burrenhof can still be seen. There was once a gate at this point, which has been reconstructed for today's visitors.

High above the fog ☀️ along the Albtrauf to the Beurener Fels, Friedrichsfels and the Bruckener Fels.
Beautiful narrow path over roots and stones through rustling leaves and wonderful views of Hohenneuffen and Teck Castle.
I like this trail better in autumn and winter than in summer. The bare trees simply give you a nicer view of the valley.

To wrap things up, one last walk together. A view from the Beuren rock face down into the cold valley. Ending the year with a small glass of Rotkäppchen raspberry liqueur.

The girlfriend was shown a bit of a view along the steep slope. The wind blew us through on the rock

Today the wind almost blew us off the Beurener Fels. The wind took our breath away. Phew. Nevertheless, it was very pleasant. After the Alpenbock had had enough of Sammy's curious nose and ran off, I already had the emergency solution. The silly mistress forgot the collapsible bowl in the car. I was thirsty and Sammy was already saying with …

And once again our view of the castles was stolen. It was muddier than we thought and some of the trees were still icy.

Today I just went around the corner to the Beurener Fels. When I was at the top I thought "Jackpot!" Golden October weather and then the fantastic view with the veils of mist in the valley. Add to that the soul dog, wonderful peace and quiet and a few but nice people around.

Out of the grey and towards the sun. That was the plan. A webcam showed sunny weather in Beuren. So off we went to the Baßgeige WP in Erkenbrechtsweiler. When we got there, there was no sun, just patches of fog and everything was grey. No matter, the Baßgeige circuit is always nice to run.
When we got to the …

Beurener Fels and Bruckener Fels over Heidengraben. Always a nice walk.
