The Heimbach circuit turned out to be smaller than planned. The round from the power plant was closed to everyone due to construction work. Drum vice versa ..... otherwise nice easy round

Today we walked around the Heimbach reservoir. On one side there are many rocks and it goes up almost vertically. There, only a narrow shore path runs along the lake, partly over many roots and partly, in places where no path is possible, over wooden walkways.

Today with my 2 🐕 water rats🐕 in great hiking weather a lap at the reservoir in Heimbach

Finally the weather is reasonably good for hiking again. The tour around the Heimbach barrage to Heimbach with a view of the castle is already a result. The forest is very colorful.

I've been to the Heimbach Basin many times. It's also a lovely walk from the nearby monastery on the mountain to the lake. Especially now in autumn, the lake, with its paths and boardwalks, offers a wonderful backdrop for photos.

Particularly beautiful pictures can be taken there in the morning sun...

Sun ☀️ and frost ❄️ in direct comparison! We were even able to enjoy a break in the sun!☺️

Showing Translation

The way there is interesting and varied. Unfortunately, the way back is 95% on asphalt.
