The route was truly beautiful. There are some small sections along the Rur where it's a bit bumpy. But it's really only minor and hardly worth mentioning. The scenery is fantastic, though. We rode the route in very nice weather.

Detours don't necessarily make river cycle paths more pleasant. And this section is even more so. Nevertheless, the fun outweighed it, especially where the Rur almost touches the cycle path and has weirs. This cycle path is beautiful with its floodplains near Sel- and Krauthausen.
