Ridden with a strong tailwind on an excellent dike cycle path. A few more kilometers still have to be done. But work is being done on it. Been very nice.

The route downstream runs through typical Altmark villages. You don't see much of the Elbe. For some parts, I followed the "Natura 2000" signs rather than the Elbe Cycle Route. After the ferry crossing, the more scenic section returned to Tangermünde. Plenty of scenery, wildlife, and the Elbe were often very close.
