The Stellisee is one of the lakes that can be hiked to via the Zermatt 5-Seenweg (5 Lakes Trail). When the Stellisee is calm and smooth, it shows a wonderful clear reflection of the Matterhorn.

June 23, 2023,5-Seenweg (Zermatt) von Sunnegga Paradise 🇨🇭🥾🏔️❤️
Grünsee, Leisee, Stellisee, Mosjesee and Grindjisee - the tour of the famous 5 lakes in which the Matterhorn is reflected. There isn't much else to say about it, other than that everyone who visits Zermatt should do this tour. We walked it counterclockwise from Sunnegga because we wanted to feel something in our legs. It was a pleasure! 🥾🇨🇭🏔️❤️

Unfortunately, it then …

Today was finally my personal highlight on my to-do list 🥰. Seeing the Matterhorn in real life was a huge dream of mine. And I wasn't disappointed; this mountain is beautiful!
