Impressive, exhausting circular hike with fantastic views in all directions. Take enough drinking water with you and sturdy shoes, as it is very scree in places.

A tougher track than expected! Some signs missing so easy to end up following the wrong path in a few sections. Would definitely recommend walking boots!

Today we did a beautiful circular hike with super great views 👀🤩 on the highest mountain (Ainos 1628m) ⛰️ of Kefalonia 👫🥾.
The trails ranged from easy to advanced.😃

The way down is a dirt road that is easy to walk. The first part of the way up is quite steep and strenuous for a short time. However, the nature of the ground on the mountain ridge is loose rock and less recommended for hikes with small children. But the view is fantastic.
