Torekov Pilot House

The well-known yellow house stands since 1878 on a cliff. Inside, the pilot was ready to help boats pass the dangerous water near Hallands Väderö. Here he was able to follow what happened at sea on a route from Tylön in Halland to Kullen in Skåne.
In the mid-1930s, pilotage was discontinued in Torekov. The small house became the studio and museum of an artist.

First thing today was the Railway Museum in Ängelholm. It was really great. The staff made an effort, showed us a film about railway history and a railway simulator in English. We already had Komoot running so you can see the pictures. Then we headed back to the hotel, where they kindly let us park our luggage for a while.
