Along the southern Bjärek coast, the meadows spread and graze for thousands of years. The landscape is a mosaic of wet and dry, nutritious and nutrient-poor, sand, pebbles and rocks. There is room for many different species - some of them are real rarities. The Skåne trail leads through the entire nature reserve from Vejbystrand in the south to Torekov in the north. A distance of about 15 kilometers.
Södra Bjärekusten is dominated by various types of open land. The grazing junipers have led to a characteristic flora of plants that are dependent on permanent habits. The beach is predominantly rocky and blocky and partly large patches of grass are spread out. Here and there white sand was deposited and laid the foundation for a number of popular seaside resorts.lansstyrelsen.se/skane/besok-och-upptack/naturreservat/bastad/sodra-bjarekusten.html
