This gorge is one of the most famous places on Crete. It is more varied than the gorges we've visited so far, but apart from the small waterfall with wooden steps, it doesn't offer any truly spectacular sections. Other places on Crete fared better in this regard. Similar sections can also be found in the valleys of Saxon Switzerland.
