If you plan to hike or bike around the Silbersee these days : please mind that Gemeinde Treffelstein is renewing the waterr pipes from the Silbersee along Silberseestraße: the road is closed! Please take the detour via "Am Wiesengrund" towards the lake and via Witzelsmühle from the lake - by car. This does not apply to pedestrians.
